In this month’s newsletter we discuss various events, pollinator patch advice and wasps. This is the time of year when many beekeepers begin to think about wasps! Despite the fact that in the early part of the year they are very much the gardener’s friend, predating on a range of pests such as aphids and caterpillars, they also feed on nectar, fruit and a sugary extract exuded by their own grubs as they are tended within the nest.
We have also published our upcoming club meetings which we hope you’ll be able to attend.
